Turn right at the next roundabout which will take you uphill to another roundabout. Turn left and you will be on the A37 heading towards Dorchester.

Several miles along the A37 you will see a sign indicating a right turn to Cattistock, Chalmington and Chantmarle. Turn right at this junction. You drop down a steep hill known as Stagg's Folly.  Pass a turning on the right to Frome St Quintin and Chantmarle, keep going down the hill.

At the bottom of the hill you reach a T junction.  Turn left and this brings you into Cattistock.  Continue into Cattistock into the 30 mile an hour limit and go past Beech Tree Close on your right.  Continue along the main village street and you will see a thatched cottage on the right (Thurlstone) which is set along the roadside with no front garden, immediately after this cottage turn right into a gravel drive before a high stone wall on which there is a wooden name plate saying 'Cattistock House'.  The Garden House is the barn conversion set back from the road and is has a name plate on the corner.
