Directions from the North (M5,
Yeovil)
Turn off
the M5 at junction 25 and follow signs to Yeovil. Once you arrive at
Yeovil you will be on a dual carriageway which takes you past a B&Q
on your left and a PC World on your right. Turn right at the next
roundabout which will take you uphill to another roundabout. Turn
left and you will be on the A37 heading towards Dorchester.
Several
miles along the A37 you will see a sign indicating a right turn to
Cattistock, Chalmington and Chantmarle. Turn right at this
junction.
You drop down a steep hill known as Stagg's Folly. Pass a
turning on the right to Frome St Quintin and Chantmarle, keep going
down the hill.
At the bottom of the hill you
reach a T junction. Turn left and this brings you into Cattistock.
Continue into Cattistock into the 30 mile an hour limit and go past
Beech Tree Close on your right. Continue along the main village
street and you will see a thatched cottage on the right (Thurlstone)
which is set along the roadside with no front garden, immediately
after this cottage turn right into a gravel drive before a high
stone wall on which there is a wooden name plate saying 'Cattistock
House'. The Garden House is the barn conversion set back from the
road and is has a name plate on the corner.
Directions from the East (Wimborne,
Bournmouth, Poole)
Travel
along the A35 to Dorchester. At Kingston Maurwood roundabout turn
right to Dorchester and continue to the next roundabout which is
called 'Top o' Town Roundabout'. Turn right at this roundabout and head out of Dorchester towards Yeovil on the A37. Continue along the A37 through Grimstone and up
two steep sections which are partially dual
carriageway. You pass two turnings to Maiden Newton on the left and one
turning to Sydling St Nicholas on the right (not counting the
turning to Sydling which you passed before in Grimstone).
Just after the Sydling turning
on the right you will see a turning on the left to Cattistock,
Chalmington and Chantmarle. Turn left

Honiton, Bridport)
Travel along the A35 towards
Bridport. At the Crown Pub roundabout take the 2nd exit and
continue along the A35 to the next roundabout where you will turn
right onto the A35 heading towards Dorchester. When you arrive at
Dorchester turn left at the first roundabout you come to, and follow
the sign for Yeovil at the next roundabout. This will take you onto the
A37 heading towards Yeovil.
Continue along the A37 through Grimstone and up
